Comment on COMMENTARY—Sixty Metres: Do Not Let Anyone Tell You Otherwise by Garth Gatrell https://www.cyclingwest.com/news/commentary-sixty-metres-do-not-let-anyone-tell-you-otherwise/#comment-102881 Wed, 01 Apr 2026 19:51:19 +0000 https://www.cyclingwest.com/?p=41874#comment-102881 I’m not quite sure what to say. I am a casual cyclist – my bike cost less than $1,000, and I have two different width tires on my bike, as well as a basket and fenders. There are some similarities between The Bedminster and Mont Ventoux: Both go up hill; both go uphill at about 7.5% gradient – not an easy climb, both have been used for bike racing, both have paved roads. But what will kill your (literally or figuratively) is the major difference: .8km vs 21+ km. Mt Ventoux is 26 times as long. It is like telling a marathon runner that the 100mtr sprinter has a harder, more difficult race to run. Those who know, know how ridiculous that is. Those who don’t know will only smile knowingly.

This helped me to understand the 1946 Gillott that I bought on Craigslist several months ago months ago.
The frame number is 946141.. and it is a taper tube with spear point lugs. So the 1947 date that was quoted from “Ken Deny” could be changed to starting in 1946.
This is a greatr write up,
Kind Thanks
John

She had severe calf pain, muscle pain, tremors, slurred speech, frequent falls, loss of balance, and difficulty in getting up from a sitting position. She was put on Sinemet for 6 months, and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Sinemet. She started physical therapy to strengthen muscles. she used different supplements that didn’t work, so last July, she tried the PD-5 protocol—the best decision ever! Her tremors eased, her strength returned, and she sleeps soundly. She feels like a new woman, and she can walk and exercise again. We got the PD-5 from this website Limitless naturalwellness .co m
